Edmonton on Demand, Alberta
In 2021, the City of Edmonton was redesigning their bus network, presenting a unique opportunity to reconsider their entire approach to transit. The result, which we’re proud to still operate today, is the largest app-based on-demand transit system in Canada. Our fleet of 72 buses serves over 30 neighborhoods every day of the week, providing nearly 750,000 passenger trips each year. Monthly ridership growth has exceeded 10%, on average, since the start of the service. All in all, this impressive system accounts for approximately 186,000 service hours annually.
