MetroWest
In April 2024, the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) selected Keolis to operate its bus services, including fixed-route lines, on-demand transport, and services for passengers with reduced mobility.
With 90 vehicles, MWRTA provides approximately 700,000 annual trips across its 400 square mile service area. Keolis’ strong technical proposal was a key driver in receiving this contract to support MWRTA with growing ridership, transitioning its fleet to alternative fuels, expanding service, and recruiting and retaining drivers. In addition to this service, Keolis also operates commuter rail services and parking facilities on behalf of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).
